“The line between truth and trauma is quieter than you think.” (education)
A key theme that keeps popping up in my awareness with the women I work with is this: how do I differentiate the voice of truth from the voice of trauma?
No, they don’t use that language exactly. They say things like:
- “How do I know what I really want though?”
- “Well, both of those things are true!”
- “Maybe I’m overthinking this…”
- “Is this my intuition or anxiety talking?”
It’s as if you have (at least!) two voices in your head that constantly argue.
How do you know which is “right”?
While this isn’t a problem you can solve with ‘one simple hack’, it is something you can shift intentionally (if you want to).
How?
That’s what I’ll be talking about in my upcoming workshop:
Truth or Trauma? How to Tell the Difference
A live workshop happening Sunday September 21st | at 11 AM - 1 PM EST | Live over Zoom | Replay Available | Private Q&A (not recorded) | $47 for the first five women ($69 after that)
Noticing the difference between the voices of trauma and truth is tough. I’ll be honest about that.
Especially when we’ve been taught to distrust ourselves, override our bodies, and label our survival responses as "blocks."
One voice says “Follow your intuition.”
Another says “That’s just your trauma talking.”
No wonder we freeze.
But what if I told you it doesn’t have to be that complicated?
In this space, I’ll walk you through:
- A clear map of the 3 signals — truth, internal (trauma/survival), and external (conditioning) — and how they combine into a fourth signal that shapes who you show up as in the world.
- How to tell when it’s trauma speaking and when it’s truth — so you can notice and stop second-guessing yourself.
- How to stop confusing fear with intuition — so you don’t keep repeating the same survival-driven choices.
- What truth feels like in your body compared to survival — so you can begin to trust yourself with confidence.
- A simple practice you can use in real time — so you have a tool to interrupt old patterns the moment they arise.
- Live Q&A — so you can get your specific questions answered privately (this will not be on the replay).
Like everything I facilitate, it’s not a training. It’s a spacious, live experience that has impact — the kind that doesn’t live in replays. So show up live to be immersed in the energy and to have your questions answered.
If you’re willing to spend 2 hours with me, I'll show you how to tell the difference between the signals of truth, internal survival, and external conditioning and why that distinction matters more than anything else in the creation of your meaningful life.
Curious about the details?
I can't wait to see you there! Because something shifts when you know that noticing is enough, and what to notice is key.
TL;DR: The line between truth and trauma is quieter than you think. In this upcoming workshop, I introduce the Signals Dancing map so you can hear the difference between the loud survival voice and the quiet signal of truth. In that, your choices change and your life transforms, one authentic moment at a time.
If you want to practice this live, join Truth or Trauma? How to Tell the Difference on Sunday, Sept 21, 11:00 AM–1:00 PM ET. Replay and live Q&A are included; the seat is $47 for the first five women to join ($69 after that).
