The morning after our spring intensive, I received a touching email from one of the participants. I say “touching” and yet that word does not do it justice. It was the kind of email that landed in my body and brought tears to my eyes. The kind that makes me put my coffee down and be consumed by the energy of the words. The kind that reminds me why I do what I do — and why it matters.
I am choosing to share my response to her with you, generalized for your eyes, because her email was fucking powerful — and so was what it drew out of me. What you’ll read below is not just a letter to a client. It’s what becomes possible when a woman stops performing and pretense and lets herself be found by the mystery of herSelf.
This is what I want for you.
It is such a delight for me to wake up to this message today. It reaffirms everything I have known about you since the nanosecond I laid eyes on you. There was something special about you, the hunger in evident in your eyes. Not all people crave this type and intensity of depth. Not all people yearn to know the truth that they carry — the truth of their essence.
This is your gift.
It’s the very thing you’ve been trained your whole life to fear. The fear triggers the avoidance and the avoidance makes sure you never “go there”. You aim to go deep, but can’t trust yourself to go there. And now, not only you can, but you notice that the compulsion pulls you deeply and intimately into the more that inevitably awaits.
You were born for this. Depth is woven in your DNA. And now the time has come to trust the thing you’ve been trained your whole life to fear.
And you know HOW.
Every time you look at those models, they become a deeper invitation to discover what you don’t know that you don’t know about yourself. And as you’ve now all experienced over the five day intensive, THAT is where power lives. Not in seeking to compress the mystery into the mind of cultural conditioning, but to dissolve the beliefs of cultural conditioning entirely so that you keep discovering the mystery.
I AM.
As you wake up, the first thing you do is ask yourself “how does the living godForce that I AM choose to live my life today?” As you repeat this, your nervous system relaxes into the truth of it, and layers become integrated and more becomes revealed.
Choice, above the choice-point, is the key. In that, you may choose to work and notice how you can ‘do’ that with your eyes closed. All you have to do is show up. And people who are drawn to your naturally soothing vibration will find you. Because you become the call for them to find you. Every poster is a call to those women. Every message on Substack. Every podcast. All of it becomes the wake up call for others through you, and for you through them. It’s a beautiful place of reciprocity ...
