What we don’t heal, we hand down.

Hi Reader,

I have been writing a lot about the process of mothering lately.

See this piece or this one, if you haven't already.

I seem to be deeply drawn to this topic — as a process — because from where I stand, it’s the most powerful process we can engage in.

Imagine this: Right now, just by choosing to live more authentically, you’re shaping the quality of life the next generation will live… and the one after that.

That’s pure power.

As you choose authentically, you become the power of permission for your children to choose differently. In that, you break intergenerational curses that have plagued humanity for ions.

Yet choosing authentically is a process, it is not a one and done.

Living authentically is a process. It's not a single breakthrough. It’s layered.

Once you’ve decloaked one part of your truth, another layer waits. And that next layer? It won’t reveal itself until the one you’re in now is fully seen and integrated.

The process of healing is layered.
Decloaking is layered.
Unfurling is layered.
Even the way your mind works — layered.

That’s why I’m hosting this live workshop:

Untangling Trauma: Cultivating Resilience Through Understanding the Mind’s Architecture

video preview

🎥 In this quick video, I share why this work matters so deeply to me — and what I trust you’ll take from it.

This experience is for anyone who feels stuck in old patterns, tired of having insight without change, or afraid of passing unprocessed pain forward.

In our time together, I’ll share:

  • How trauma is passed down through generations
  • Why understanding your mind is more powerful than judging it
  • A framework that reveals the intelligence inside your behavior
  • How real choice becomes available when you stop pathologizing your mind and start listening to it

✨ You’ll walk away with:

  • A clear understanding of why you react the way you do (and why it’s not your fault -- and it is your responsibility)
  • A powerful lens for interrupting inherited patterns — so they don’t keep repeating
  • An introduction to a practical process for making new choices from a place of awareness, not survival
  • Language to help you understand yourself and your children with more compassion

This is a special session I’m offering to you complimentary, as I prepare to deliver it later this month for continuing education credit to social workers, counselors, marriage and family therapists, and addiction professionals.

I’d love to have you there.

(this link will take you to the calendar invite; if you have issues, hit 'reply' to this email and we'll sort it out)

PS - for those familiar with the Predictable Structure of Thought but want to know more about how it works in practice, this is the place for you to be!
