I thought I’d send you a picture of me saying hello. I'm not on social media so this is as good as it gets! (Unless this counts?)
This is me, post most recent haircut.
I've been thinking a lot about what are the things that keep women up at night, lately.
For me, choosing to home school my son, the hardest thing I'm bumping up against is building an intentional community. One that supports not only his well-being, but also my working.
I hear the same thing from my clients all the time -- what they're missing is not only new information, but a community that invites and allows integration. A community that 'gets it' and encourages it.
So, I'm working on it ;)
In the meantime, have faith!
If you're struggling to live from your truth know this: it is 'hard'. Because we are taught that to belong fit in is to be safe. What if there existed a space where you get to be the truth of who you are in that moment, and nothing else?
The bottom line is this: If we don't feel safe, we stay the same. Staying the same has a cost.
One of those costs, is pain.
Below you'll find a six minute clip on some of my thoughts about pain.
Thanks for being a part of this email list. I love writing you, Reader!
PS: Hit reply with a fave picture of yourself, too. I’d love to know who I’m talking to; because behind the inbox, is a real woman navigating this journey, too.🙂
